INGREDIENTS
500g beef burger patties
4 slices of bacon
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 burger buns
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices
8 slices of Tradition Cheese Duoz Mozzarella & Red Cheddar
4 tbsp ketchup
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 avocado
PREPARATIONS
Preheat a grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the beef patties with salt and pepper on both sides.
Grill or cook the beef patties on the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
While the beef patties are cooking, cook the bacon in a separate pan until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the bacon from the pan and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to cool.
Sliced the onions and tomatoes.
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Slice the avocado flesh into thin slices.
When the beef patties are fully cooked, add two slices of Tradition Cheese Duoz Mozzarella & Red Cheddar on top of each patty, and let them melt for a minute or two.
While the cheese is melting, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the oven.
To assemble the burgers, spread a tablespoon of ketchup and mayonnaise on the bottom half of each burger bun. Add a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on top of the condiments.
Place the beef patty with melted cheese on top of the tomato and lettuce, followed by onions, tomatoes, two bacon slices, and avocado slices.
Finish by topping each burger with the remaining half of the burger bun.
