Granarolo Frozen Burrata

Burrata is named from its ingredients and its making process: a mix of mozzarella and cream that form a "buttery" cheese. This cheese has an outside mozzarella shell made of cow's milk, while inside contain a soft mixture of mozzarella scraps and fresh cream that gives to it a unique pulpy texture. Thaw the frozen burrata in the chilled section of the fridge 1 day before using.

Burrata cheese is usually served at room temperature and when cut the outside skin it has to be eaten immediately. Burrata goes well with salads, crusty bread or fresh tomatoes with olive oil. Taste it is a truly mystic experience.
